The Tramex Roof and Wall Kit detects and evaluates humidity conditions in roof and wall systems by non-destructively measuring electrical impedance. A low-frequency electronic signal is transmitted into the material being tested via electrodes located at the base of the instrument.
The intensity of this signal varies depending on the amount of moisture present in the material being tested. The Tramex floor and wall leak detector determines the current strength and converts it into a comparative moisture content value, displayed on a clear large analog dial.
Moisture testing can be performed during installation, as part of a regular maintenance program, or before repairing damaged roof and wall systems. The Tramex kit is a portable and robust set, featuring two modes of operation: one for roofs and one for EIFS/foam insulation systems, each providing two levels of signal penetration. Once the Tramex is calibrated to an area known to be sufficiently dry, it provides instant readings for moisture inspection.
The Tramex Roof and Wall Scanner is an instantaneous, accurate, multi-mode, non-destructive impedance scanner for assessing moisture conditions in roofing (per ASTM D7954), EIFS, foam insulation systems and other building envelope applications.
Multi-mode function allows deep penetration and sensitivity selection. It helps trace leaks and locate their source — a major asset for walls and roofs.
The Tramex Concrete Moisture Encounter CMEX5 is a non-destructive digital concrete moisture tester for measuring the quantitative moisture content of concrete floors and slabs. It incorporates a hygrometer measuring ambient relative humidity, temperature, dew point and environmental humidity ratio.
A pluggable bayonet port allowsuse optional wooden pin probes or Tramex Hygro-i2 sensors to measure the relative humidity of concrete in accordance with ASTM F2170. Instant and precise quantitative measurement.
The IRT2 is a portable, non-contact dual-laser infrared thermometer with a 12:1 distance-to-point ratio and audible and visible high/low set point alarms. It measures surface temperatures from -50°C to 650°C with an accuracy of approximately 1-1.5%. Response time 0.15 s, 9V battery power supply, compliant with EN60285 class II laser standard.
