The Tubicam® XL 360 HAD Compact: usable in rainy conditions

The Tubicam® XL 360 HAD is a rotating pipe inspection camera, the camera head of which can be directed from the console. This version is equipped with a compact and waterproof screen for easy transport and use in all conditions. Thanks to its focal length and powerful lighting, it allows you to inspect a wide range of networks from Ø60 mm to Ø800 mm.

The Tubicam® XL 360 HAD is state-of-the-art equipment which offers you an image definition of 1280 × 720 px. The camera is equipped with a high sensitivity CMOS sensor, perfectly suited for pipeline inspections. The inspection camera integrates the following technologies: the metric counter, the tubitext (keyboard for incrementing comments) and the 512 Hz probe.

Rotating camera and centerers

The camera head measures 50 mm in diameter. Thanks to its size and the rigidity of the rod, you pass the elbows at 90° from 120 mm. The camera eye is framed by 4 adjustable white LEDs.

The Tubicam® XL 360 HAD inspection camera can be supplied with 3 centralizers which raise your camera head so that it does not collect the bottom of the pipe, and your vision is not obstructed by deposits. These three centralizers are of different sizes: 2 × arch centerers (165 mm / 220 mm) and 1 × rigid centerer (78 mm).

In order to facilitate the passage of the camera over long distances, you can add the stainless steel centering device with wheels (sold separately). This can be adjusted to adapt perfectly to the diameter of the network inspected.

A reinforced fiberglass rod

The rod is sheathed in reinforced fiberglass to offer you a good compromise between the rigidity necessary to be inserted and the flexibility to pass bends up to 60 meters (or 120 meters as an option when ordering).

What options are included in the rotating pipeline camera?

Metric counter: The metric counter or odometer tells you how far your camera head is from your position. If you don't have elbows, simply transfer the distance linearly to be able to locate your camera head.

512 Hz probe: the Tubicam® XL 360 HAD inspection camera integrates a probe emitting frequencies at 512 hertz. Coupled with a surface locator (Vscan® or vLoc 3 Cam), you will precisely detect your inspection camera, and thus know at what depth excavate.

Integrated keyboard: it allows you to write comments during your ITV inspections and thus get a head start on your final inspection report.

Always with a view to constant improvement, the connectivity of the Tubicam XL 360 HAD V2 changes to aircraft connectivity. This new connection is equipped with a double seal, a quick clipping and unclipping system, as well as a screwable ring for perfect sealing and unrivaled ease of use.
