Description
Tramex® DEC SCANNER
Mobile moisture scanner for flat roofs and waterproofing systems — ASTM D7954 standard
Mobile non-destructive impedance scanner — rapid inspection of large roof areas
Detection 2%
Spots excess moisture as low as 2% and locates damp areas in minutes.
ASTM D7954 standard
Designed for instant inspection of moisture conditions in flat roofs and waterproofing systems.
3 sensitivity scales
Analog dial, audible alerts and settings suitable for smooth, gravel or partially saturated surfaces.
Manufactured in the EU, the Tramex Dec Scanner is a non-invasive moisture detector mounted on four wheels, designed to quickly and accurately scan large areas of roofs. This device provides instant and reliable results.
Specifically designed to detect leaks and moisture infiltration, the Dec Scanner offers continuous readings, directly visible on a clear analogue dial. In case of very humid areas, it also emits audible alerts. It has three sensitivity levels, suitable for different roof surfaces and conditions.
Thanks to its continuous operation capacity, it allows rapid and precise roof coverage. Easy to use, it requires no training or qualifications — an effective solution for roof inspection and monitoring.
Standard Dec Scanner Pack Contents
The pack includes the Tramex console equipped with an analog screen and a needle (vu-meter) allowing precise detection of the humidity level. It offers different sensitivity modes to adapt to the situation:
Scale 1: smooth surfaces where insulation is saturated and humidity mainly on the surface.
Scale 2: smooth or gravelled surfaces where the insulation is partially saturated.
Scale 3: the most sensitive — small quantities of water near the surface or significant concentrations at greater depth, including on gravelled areas.
Carrying case — organized console, neck and baseConsole — analog dial and 3 sensitivity scalesUse on flat roofs — continuous inspection without destruction
The handle
The handle, equipped with two extensions, allows you to guide the base of the Tramex while accommodating the console ergonomically. The console clips directly onto the handle.
The base on wheels
The basis of the Tramex is a non-invasive moisture detector mounted on four wheels, specially designed to quickly analyze large roof areas. Powered by two 9V batteries (included), it transmits data to the console via an infrared connection.
The storage case
A sturdy and practical case is included to protect and transport the equipment. Compact and lightweight, it secures each component and guarantees impeccable organization on site.
