Equipping a detector, network locator is becoming essential for all building professionals. Detection allows you to be more efficient during your structural work. In fact, you will no longer need to destroy an entire part of the road to find out where the anomaly is located in the pipe.

Coupled with a Tubicam® inspection camera equipped with a head probing at 512Hz, you will know exactly the location of the anomaly. To do this, simply place yourself directly above the camera head and scan with the locator. When it emits a shrill sound and the signal is at 100%, you will be exactly above the camera head, and therefore the location of the water leak.

What are the situations in which a network detector can be used?

The new generation detector, VSCAN, is dedicated to the detection of probes integrated into TUBICAM® camera heads. Thus allowing the search for leaks in rainwater and sanitation networks.

What are the characteristics of the VSCAN network detector?

This location system is made up of an injected ABS casing allowing it to withstand indoor or outdoor use (IP54 / NEMA 4).

With very good sensitivity thanks to two ferrite antennas, it allows the detection of buried networks and camera heads up to 2 meters deep. In addition, detection and localization are made easier thanks to the screen located on the device (indication of signal intensity and depth of the probe).
